Solid Edge verfügt über eine Vielzahl an Schnittstellen zu anderen CAD-Systemen für einen einfachen Datenaustausch und für die Dokumentation.
Dazu zählen Direktschnittstellen für die CAD-Programme SolidWorks, Pro/E, AutoCAD, CATIA und Inventor. Darüber hinaus beinhaltet Solid Edge zudem neutrale Schnittstellen wie u. a. STEP, IGES, JT und Parasolid.
